  Brief Purpose: To provide mental health support to individual service users; supporting them to improve their mental health and well-being by providing person centred support plan and sessions on different aspects of mental health including anxiety, Low mood/Challenging negative thoughts, Suicidal ideation, Self-harm, Managing emotions, self esteem, physical health, understanding mental health, Grief and loss, Relationships, Social isolation, hearing voices, sleep hygiene, food and mood, addictions, anger management, daily planning, etc RESPONSIBLE FOR: Main tasks • Manage a caseload of service users and give all necessary mental health support o those individuals to enable them to improve their overall mental health and well-being. • Develop with service users an appropriate personal support plan and risk assessment which takes account of their full range of needs. • Assist service users in formulating and pursuing positive personal development support programmes, including community involvement, with clear, agreed objectives that are regularly reviewed. • Support service users in the development of emotional management skills, personal and life skills with the aim of attaining greater independence and self esteem, providing the emotional support necessary to do so.
