I gathered requirements from management, stakeholders, and my own experience to streamline and create intuitive web application designs for MEASWEB. These were designed to improve and automate any manual process they were replacing by creating stored procedures, objects and code for the website to execute. Information could then be relied to the user with important metrics, error & transactional validations, and the ability to stage or preview the information prior to the data committing permanently. For the visual ascetics I created clean and simple interfaces that were easy for novice and advanced users alike. Conceptual images were created, organized, and versioned for stakeholders and management to approve of. Interactive PDF demos were also created to demonstrate basic functionality. Finalized designs were then used as roadmaps for developers. I would then work as a liaison with users and stakeholders to implement any post-release changes or modifications to the applications. I was integral in the process of creating design standards for MEASWEB for developers to follow. I worked with developers to incorporate the use of data tables, data table excel exports (csv), widget accordions, calendar date pickers, dialog windows, progress bars, autocomplete fields, tooltips, tabs and tabbed parent menus, child sub menus, CSS Styles and colors. The challenge of the UI was finding a balance to display complicated and detailed data that represented over a 100 fields of data. Data elements had to be organized by Columns, Parent Rows with Expandable Accordions, Tabbed Child Widgets containing sub-rows and nested interfaces via the Data Table Grids. Search bar Ribbons containing tabs, nested dropdown filters, radio buttons were also implemented. This has lead to implementation of modern design standards across MEASWEB. This was accomplished through the use of Adobe Photoshop, Balsamiq, SpryMedia DataTables, JTables, jQuery UI, Telerik UI/Kendo UI. Show less

I was also responsible for meeting notes used to compile Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) documents and project guidelines. I also created engineering requirements for all web application projects. I was responsible for engineering documents and diagrams were created prior and during development actions. I created Entity Relationship (ER) Diagrams, Visio Flow Charts, and Excel Charts for developers to reference during development phases. For Quality Assurance (QA) related tasking I was integral assuring all application releases were fully functional and behaved as expected. Also created and maintained QA tracking documents, Bug Tracking Spreadsheets to organize project status in order to communicate between developers, management, and stakeholders. Assigned and created Bug tracking numbers during release and MEASWEB Trouble Ticket documents (TR#) post release. All application development cycles utilized (SCRUM) Agile Development Framework. I participated in SPRINTS, and as a SCRUM Master/Team Lead in several development cycles. QA Phases all contained UNIT Testing, PTA, and PRN Release Cycles. I tested all in-development applications, noted any bugs or unexpected behavior, communicated risk analysis to management on data impacts, and worked directly with developers to resolve any issues or enhance the product.
