As the leader of FINEOS' APAC R&D unit, I oversaw the development and delivery of their regional OOTB offering; led product management of new market based offerings through Business Model Design & Service Design approaches; led the foray into leveraging APIs and new technology, particularly in the AI and big data space to help create a better experience and ecosystem for end customers through new means such as voice recognition, Chat Bots and machine learning. I led the development of various new products targeted at FINEOS' markets in APAC using standard tools and methods. Achieving these results through co-ordinating and facilitating various Design Sprint and Business Model design workshops.From a market and product perspective I oversaw moving the demand for digital capabilities from our end customers into a real product offering that we fulfilled by developing APIs. We have since further used these to build out our innovation capability which has led to the development of chat bots, apps and other new offerings.Financially I looked at ways to decrease both cost and risk in our operations space and focused on ways to automate and standardise our build and cloud processes from automatic and sometimes manual jobs into cohesive continuous delivery processes significantly lowering our resource costs to provide these services.
