  ● Collected and analyzed data to find strengths and opportunities for improvement in current methods of production in stone manufacturing.● Conducted time studies to determine various cycle times and aid in line balancing to remove bottlenecks.● Developed proposals and implemented accepted projects to improve productivity, quality and safety in production. Used charts, graphs and other means of illustrating data to improve reports.● Produced standard operating procedures for over sixty pieces of existing equipment and all new equipment based on production specifications, optimized operation, supplier/manufacturer recommendations and health and safety requirements.● Assisted in the selection and design of tooling for the cutting, honing, grinding, and polishing processes of natural stone. Lay out equipment in areas that optimize space availability, process flow and access to required inputs, such as raw material, tools and other supplies.● Helped establish capital budgets for new projects involving equipment, tooling and process development. ● Supervised production in primary sawing department which supplies raw material to all downstream areas of processing.● Assisted the maintenance department with machine troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications ● Submitted annual SRED (government research and development tax rebates) reports and collected data to aid with these reports.
