By teaching geography at key stages 3-5, I am actively inspiring the next generation of geographers and environmentalists. I bring passion to the subject through my belief that better understanding of our relationships with the natural world and each other will lead to greater respect. I also facilitate the student environmental impact club and head up sustainable travel on the staff climate action working group. From running adult bushcraft courses to 1:1 alternative provision for vulnerable learners in the great outdoors, as well as leading large groups of primary and secondary children in specific days such as habitat explorer, survival, and team building, my role entails bringing people from all walks of life closer to nature. I believe firmly in both the therapeutic benefits this gives and the beneficial effect it can have on people's understanding and respect for the natural world.
