I had a lead role upgrading the Genius Insurance System through five major software releases. The system had not been upgraded in many years. The upgrades were first done on the test iSeries and I executed smoke testing prior to QA testing by business users. Provided troubleshooting analysis and resolution of issues found during smoke and QA Testing. Provided troubleshooting analysis and resolution of issues found during smoke and QA Testing. Performed upgrades and re-configuration of other software integrated with Genius; this Included User Interface (UI) software, and ITP Document Production. Worked closely with Desktop team to prepare rollout packages for the UI software. The next phase involved preparation for deployment of new versions of custom programs / files and core programs that were found to have issues during testing. This involved a fair amount of automation using CL programs to deliver the new objects. The project concluded shortly after a successful Go Live weekend. I was brought in because of my extensive experience with ISO Statistical Reporting with Genius. I had a lead role on this long-term project to design a US Admitted Insurance Solution within Xuber. This included close partnerships with Deloitte and ISO (Insurance Services Organization).
