      Starting out as a cashier/waiter to support me through University, immediately after finishing university, I progressed through to management. Management Experience: Supporting the General Manager and working in alignment with the rest of the management team in the running of the restaurant in order to ensure the restaurant is the best that it can be. Main duties include: • Running busy day and evening restaurant shifts to the standards of the company by leading a team of up to 24 staff and ensuring all are happy and comfortable with the work they are doing. • Sticking to the budgets of the restaurant when it comes to orders. • Supporting and growing members of staff in their development to ensure that they, as well as myself, can reach their full potential. • Creating and putting up staff rota’s that fit the needs of the staff and remain inside the wage budgets of the restaurant. • Recognising the need for recruitment and then scheduling/conducting interviews with potential employee’s. • Taking lead of the restaurant’s local marketing. This includes: setting up discounts to attract local businesses; taking the lead on attracting new students during our local university’s ‘Freshers Week’ and running social media accounts for the store. These would then be tracked and assessed to determine if they are working beneficially for the restaurant. • Receiving and handling customer feedback. • Delivering excellent customer service to the standards of the company.
