  Note: This was a summer position that I held in the summers of 2011 and 2012. Worked as an intern for the Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy (ELSA), Elmhurst College's post-secondary education program for students with special needs. Worked with other interns and a professor in planning and co-teaching an ELSA summer course. Co-created the curriculum for the course and co-created and planned lessons and assessments for each class period. Also planned various field trips that connected to the class material to provide students with a more engaging, real world experience that enhanced their learning.
