I review plans, submittals, escrow, and new projects to ensure township zoning and ordinance is met in the designs, and that materials used in the project meet PennDOT specifications. I create GIS maps of various Municipalities for differing uses (i.e. road programs, stormsewer collection system, etc.). I also have worked on bid documents for the creation of projects contracted by the township or borough. In the field I observe and document construction procedures done by the general contractor. Erosion and Settlement controls, piping, and concrete pours that are within township control are all watched to ensure proper specifications are followed.

I inspected recently completed ramps to make sure they met RC-67 ADA standards and filled recorded slopes and measurements in PennDOT forms. If ramps did not meet standards, I cataloged the required changes for the contractor to make and would later reinspect the ramps to make sure they met ADA standards. I performed concrete testing such as slump, air content, temperature, and cylinder creation. Utilizing testing equipment for sieve analysis I testing fine and coarse aggregate to make sure it met standards for the concrete mixes. Concrete compression was used on select cylinders to make sure mix designs met requirements. I performed concrete testing such as slump, air content, temperature, and cylinder creation. During my time with Pennoni Associates I conducted concrete and soil inspections on various projects (Best Western Inn-King of Prussia). I made sure poured concrete met ACI standards and made cylinders for compression testing. Using a Nuclear Moisture Density Gauge I made sure soil and asphalt was compacted to required standards.
