At Zone Bowling I work as a technician/team member. My role as a technician is to fix any problems that occur to the machines(bowling & arcade) in a timely manner. As a technician my problem solving skills have improved greatly. My communication skills have devolved as well due to the uses of a radio system between the technician and front of house. Where if I was radioing a front of house my message had to be clear and precise. My role as a team member is to operate the front desk of Zone. Where I greet customers and do the payment transaction before they start bowling. By working the front of desk my organisational and multi tasking skills have improved. These skills have been improved because I’m often in a situation where I am interacting with customer, radioing the technician on duty to fix an issue on the lanes and trying to keep a clean workspace.
