Assigned as a Lead Developer for eight applications. I am responsible for the development/testing of the apps as well as working with customers to gather requirements and demo our solutions. Tasked with creating dynamic reports to provide easily readable data exports from several applications using the open source software BIRT. (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) Assigned as a Developer for several COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) products used in the engineering process. (Solumina, Maximo, etc.) Awards: TOSC Director’s Award 2020 Awarded for the development and implementation of the TOSC Incident Reporting Tool which improves the reporting of mishaps and close calls. This new tool improved the response time to incidents and allowed for quick notifications to TOSC leadership and our customers. TOSC Innovation Excellence Award 2019 Awarded for the development and implementation of the Quality Call Board Application. This application replaced a manual process and allowed inspection supervisors to monitor all work in real time. This helped them better assign personnel to meet schedule and shift demands. Show less

Tasked with learning the Selenium UI testing suite alongside a senior member of the development team and applying what we learned to implement it on our in house tool for managing our applications. Assigned all of the tasks in a small sprint implementing some fixes and changes to an existing application for the campus’ computer store. Involving working with a Point of Sale MSSQL database database used by the store as well as our own database. Asked to look into the possibility of moving our logging services to an Azure Service Bus topics system in order to abstract it from our applications and allow easier maintenance and integration into future applications. I developed a demo showcasing how it could be used to our benefit and presented it and my other findings to the team. Show less
