      WHO HE IS Sean has always been smitten by art and creativity. He says, “As a 5 year old, I was told when living in Fiji in the South Pacific, that I’d grow up to be an architect. It’s in my DNA.” After studying design and architecture at University College London, the Technical University of Munich and the University of Plymouth, Sean began his career in the mid 1990’s, is a RIBA Chartered Architect, sits on the RIBA International Committee and is a BCO ‘Best of the Best’ Award winner. He loves inspiring (and being inspired by) the rest of the team. It’s not just about winning the work; it’s about winning hearts and minds. SELECTED EXPERIENCE Within the workplace sector, Sean is involved in the entire spectrum, whether for developers or end users. Currently he is working with Aberdeen Standard, Blackstone, CO-RE, Brookfield and RE Capital on re-imagining their assets, as well as Diageo, IPG Mediabrands and Anglo American DeBeers in creating world class spaces and places for their people. His work, thinking and passion has been recognised by the British Council for Offices for their ISG HQ, which was awarded their highest accolade, the ‘Best-of-the-Best’ award and for HAVAS, voted the Best Workplace in London. Sean has also been recognised for work in high end leisure, predominately in Europe, with is work here featuring in Interior Design NYC. OUTSIDE THE OFFICE Sean is a keen cyclist having helped organise BCO Cycle Challenges and participated in furious races including Mallorca 312, The Marmotte and Cycle to Cannes. He also has a passion for skiing and driving his classic car in the sun. WITHIN THE OFFICE Sean is the Creative Director of MCM and is responsible for the design output across all business streams including Architecture and Interiors. Show less

      Sean was a Board Member where he lead Orms' international projects, mainly in Germany and Austria. He also lead their Interiors sector with notable highlights including ISG's BCO 'Best of the Best' award winning project and Ogier HQ in Jersey.       Sean was a member of the competition team at Steidle Architekten where he helped win the 85,000m2 De-Te-Mobil (Deutsche Telekom) HQ, Bonn and a new Faculty Building in Wageningen University, Netherlands. Outside of the office, Sean learnt to speak fluent German, cycled regularly into the nearby Austrian Alps and enjoyed visiting central European cities, including Vienna, Venice, Budapest and Berlin.
