Consultant for Small/Med Business - Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Solutions Developer
-
Jan 2015 - Present
Currently developing custom software solutions for small to medium sized businesses focusing on logistics and streamlining processes. Solutions may include automating repetitive tasks involving wide range of tasks, a few examples being; research, contact information gathering, property/land records, mining data from public records databases, state and federal data systems, court systems, etc. Information is then compiled into an easy to read, easy to manage format, that allows the user to conduct further custom analysis on data, while automating any common analysis that is usually performed for the chosen industry/sector/task/topic. Results are then displayed intuitively, in multiple ways, which can be custom fit for the user, team or industry, allowing teams to gain insights from collected data much easier, and much faster. While adding the ability to further analyze sub-sections of data, all while maintaining data integrity, and accuracy across each source. Final conclusions can be exported in various formats, which ever fits the teams process best. Before providing custom solutions to common tasks, the entire teams process is reviewed to ensure any logistical advantages are implemented in the solution itself, after implementing, the process is reviewed again to find any other efficiency related issues, any bottlenecks in the process, and any repetition from start to finish. Further narrowing downtime, distances to be walked between steps in the process, and calculating, down to the second, machine start times, wait times, etc After all of these are in place, a final comparison will show benefits gained among each step in the process and also any compromises that may have been made. Business receives a final efficiency gain percentage, if applicable, When efficiency gained in one area exceeds or replaces the tasks the previous employee was assigned to, Recommendations will be made for reassigning/retraining employees to areas that will benefit the most.
