Directly interfaced with government customer to ensure proper test configurations.• Responsibilities included loading and operating Aegis Weapon System, analyzing weapon system data, resolving hardware issues with IBM computing centers, VME single board computers, NTDS interfaces, and network equipment (i.e. Cisco 3750, 6509 switches). • Prepared and built Mission Plans that provided automated system configurations to support operationally realistic testing.• Provided real time and post mission data analysis of Aegis Weapon System and Link-16 data in support of Ballistic Missile Defense testing. Utilized tools including Matlab and Excel to efficiently process raw tactical data. Identified the cause of issues arising during testing and verifying the weapon system and link-16 data perform according to specification. • Developed realistic Ballistic Missile Defense scenarios using an Aegis Weapon System Interface Simulator. Scenarios included producing target trajectory, radar search sectors, and valid weapons doctrine. Scenarios were used to support various SPAWAR C4I testing activities.• Integrated Aegis Combat System Baseline 9 utilizing Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Baseline 5.X software. Integration included assembling and connecting IBM blade centers with PCI expansion chassis supporting NTDS-B and NTDS-E interfaces providing a shipboard testing environment in a lab facility.• Configured Cisco Catalyst 3750-E switches to support Aegis Combat System Interface Simulator. Switch provided IBM blade center E HS-22 blades with Network Time Protocol and properly isolated and directed Distributed Interactive Simulation Protocol data units used in Ballistic Missile Defense testing.
