native is a tech start-up with an advanced engagement platform bringing exciting content and brands onto campus whilst providing students with event recommendations, new experiences and exclusive tickets off-campus. In this role I had some great exposure to various aspects of the business and met with senior representatives of Students' Unions. As a partnership manager I was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with over 40 students' unions across the UK. I helped native grow and establish a presence in Scotland as well as in Wales and Northern Ireland. In this process, I have attained some great CRM skills and have experience with CRM systems. I developed comprehensive consultative sales skills and pitched native to CEOs of multi-million pound businesses to secure business and growth in the sector. I also played a role in routing and managing events for thousands of students across the UK bringing great content to university campuses. Throughout this process, I also marketed the events and aided students' unions in their marketing efforts to help boost engagement. Internally I participated in many discussions concerning the growth of native as a business, product management and contributed to many ideation sessions. I believe that the start-up nature of native has given me a great exposure to multiple areas of the business and has equipped me with an understanding of how to drive a business forward. Show less
