As Chairman of the Combat Clothing and Individual Equipment and Protection working group, it is my privilege to steer the CCIEP group, comprised of an excellent collection of NATO member nation representatives, to address the capability gaps for our soldiers of today and tomorrow. We focus on 11 threats against the dismounted soldier and work to reduce or mitigate those threats by providing nations test standards, technologies and/or equipment modernization strategies to implement.
