  I commenced my fabrication apprenticeship in June 2013 where I trained in Nigg Skills Academy for a 16 week intensive program. Upon finishing, I was based at Caledonian Petroleum Services in Dyce, Aberdeen where I completed my apprenticeship from Oct 13-Oct 15. I picked up valuable key skills to assist me with furthering my career within Fabrication.   Prior to me starting my apprenticeship I worked as a Labourer for MTM Construction. I enjoyed my time with MTM as I feel it gave me an understanding for general labouring and maintenance work. Duties included laying concrete, tarring of roads, kerbing of pavements, controlling heavy machinery and general housekeeping of the work site.
