The mission of Braid is to empower volunteers to help heal the wounds of foster care through meaningful relationships. I have started as a mentor to a foster child in San Francisco working to develop a long-lasting stable relationship. Coach - FSK Rockets Girls Soccer Team
-
2013 - Mar 2021
I've coached the Rockets girls soccer team from 3 on 3 microsoccer at age 5 to the present where the girls are excelling in their various ways at age 12. It's great to be able to see the team and individuals grow in various ways and learn the personalities of each girl. Coaching the team is a privilege for me and I feel that the team makes me grow as much as they do. I've coached world-level athlete's in other sports, and traveled the world in doing so, but I'd say these girls teach me more than I can give. This team educates me constantly in people management, self-grounding, humility, respect, caring, patience, and just having fun. I look forward to each new season. Go Rockets!
