Product designer

I worked on the Yandex Maps, Yandex Metro, Yandex Maps API, Map Constructor, Map Editor, and internal services (such as Subway Schemes Constructor, Satellite Layer Editor). I led the full product design process: from the early data analysis and audience research to final designs for all platforms (desktop, mobile, and mobile web) and ongoing support. Examples of my last projects: • shutdown of Yandex Transport app (due to core app functionality being integrated into Yandex Maps) and moving its users to Yandex Maps app. Successfully converted 80% of Transport app users into Yandex Maps users • redesign of one of the core product use cases — public transit use case for Yandex Maps. Increased DAU by 6 times • designing a dark theme for subway schemes and interface in Yandex Metro. App’s dark theme was featured on AppStore • maintaining Yandex Maps' design system and designing it for Yandex Metro • accessibility data in places' cards for Yandex Maps And something more: • published several articles in the internal company blog on AR • helped onboard and mentor three design interns. All of them were successfully employed by Yandex • helped organize design school at Yandex (3-month offline program for product designers) • helped with internal AR-hackathon (made an introduction into XR and created a compilation of UX best practices for XR) • made short presentations for my team. I designed SCADA and smart home interfaces. Created UI Kits for engineers to use on their own, without a designer. Some of my projects: • Interfaces for managing infrastructure and engineering systems of an office building, a data center, and a hotel • Power generating unit interface for a famous Siberian hospital (Meshalkin Research Institute of Circulation Pathology) I designed SCADA and smart home interfaces. I started as a technical designer at one online store (Skinon), worked as a Head of Design there, jumped to another online store as a web designer. Then worked as a graphic/web designer for several years.
