I met Scottye White while still just a student and a Resident Assistant at Kennesaw State University. Scottye was the Property Manager for the community that I lived in and you could not have asked for a more involved, tenant-oriented Property Manager. I was then given the distinct privilege of working for Scottye. Scottye's role as the Property Manager was one that she took very serious, but she also worked diligently to develop the members of her staff, making sure that they were learning the field, giving them the opportunity to try new things, and the opportunity to experience the field. Scottye is a friend, a role model, a teacher, and someone who I owe a great deal too. I do not think I would be as successful as I have been without Scottye coming alongside me and developing me as a young professional within the world of student housing.
