Working with Scott was a pleasure. He is a strong leader, and he takes time to truly understand the organization, the culture and his team before making change. I enjoyed working with him on a number of projects, and I could always count his optimism, integrity and strategic thinking.

I worked with Scott recently on several strategic projects and I enjoyed the experience because he is a great human! It’s a bonus that he also has fantastic leadership skills, is results oriented and achieves this while being strongly collaborative.

Scott is a world-class leader. He’s results and value focused with a heart and humor that makes him a pleasure to work with. Scott’s confidence in the capability of the teams he leads and coaches is infectious and inspiring. Learning and Development grew in capability, innovation, and influence under his leadership. Scott’s understanding of people and human behavior is something I saw as one of his most potent assets. He’s an excellent relationship builder with keen insight into the people on his team and throughout the organization. His capacity to bring that human understanding together with organizational goals enables the initiatives that Scott champions to have long-lasting positive impact. I will very much miss his people-centered, open, creative, and collaborative approach and know that those same characteristics will be much appreciated in the next organization lucky enough to have him.

Led a team of multi-faceted professionals as we transformed the associate experience at Panera into "work as it should be". Our efforts were wide-ranging including a comprehensive employee value proposition aligned with Panera's strategic goals; a re-imagined onboarding and training experience, and a full organization redesign for our retail bakery-cafes and overhead support roles. I was able to craft a clear vision that was executed through creative uses of technology, sound change management practices, and the most resilient team I have ever assembled.

I oversee a team of professionals covering three disciplines: Learning and Development, Organization Development and Change Management. Each group is responsible for improving the business performance of WB by growing the capabilities of our employees in strategically important ways. This includes the coordination of change management and training efforts for global systems implementations, as well as, the creation of the WBLN (Warner Bros. Learning Network). A recognizable brand for employees seeking development opportunities, the WBLN includes a web portal with single click connections to thousands of development assets and learning opportunities. There is also an emphasis on requesting specific development and sharing one's own expertise with the WB community. Other duties include the design and implementation of organization development interventions at the local and company-wide level. This includes large-scale projects that drive, and are driven by, business strategy. Examples include: our employee engagement survey, performance review process, executive coaching protocols and executive succession planning. Local, client-driven, projects are also frequently required such as planning and executing division-level off-sites, skills-development interventions, certification curriculum design. These are typically customized to the needs of executives in support of their strategic imperatives. A significant component of the work that we do is strategic talent management based on deep understanding of both the needs of our larger business and the individual challenges of our executives.
