I established IT Integrity with an ethos to provide unbias advice to corporations that would assist them in achieving their business objectives and overcome business issues and challenges through the use of technology. 20 to 30 years ago, if you were a business owner or senior manager / director, there were two external people that you would turn to for advice whenever you were setting business goals and objectives or trying to overcome issues and challenges that you were faced with -… Show more I established IT Integrity with an ethos to provide unbias advice to corporations that would assist them in achieving their business objectives and overcome business issues and challenges through the use of technology. 20 to 30 years ago, if you were a business owner or senior manager / director, there were two external people that you would turn to for advice whenever you were setting business goals and objectives or trying to overcome issues and challenges that you were faced with - these were a Lawyer and an Accountant. In today's technological world, every business should have a similar relationship with a Technologist. IT Integrity was born to provide this service, one where we (IT Integrity) develop a long standing relationship with our customers, learning more and more about the customer's business over time in order to be able to assist them quickly at times of need and work with them to grow and succeed. While IT Integrity has relationships with all major vendors, we have no financial committments to any of them. Our committment is to our customers to ensure that we take the mystery of technology away for them and help them to focus on whatever it is that they do best - their products and services. Our customer's success, has directly resulted to our own success! Show less

When I started at Vertex it was primarily a Hardware Maintenance organisation that was looking to expand into Systems Integration services. I began as a technical BDM and within approximately 2 years developed into the Systems Integration Manager with more than half the company reporting to me. I learnt alot within Vertex, designing and project managing the implementation of numerous and varied technology solutions.

IPC was an organisation where I learnt a huge amount in a short space of time. This was due to the caos that was inflicted on the organisation by numerous people within it at a senior level. When I started with IPC the company had approximately 450 staff across Australia and were represented in most states through retail outlets. The company also had a significant Corporate and Government division. IPC manufactured / assembled PCs, Laptops and Servers. I held numerous roles during the two years that I worked for the organisation, these were as follows: - Build Technican - Production Manager - Corporate Technical Specialist. - Internal project coordinator - Pre-sales consultant - IT Project Manager - Business Development Manager By the time that I left the organisation 2 years later, there were approximately 35 people left and I was the third longest lasting employee in the company. I had reported to 13 different people over the 2 years and had seen 3 major management restructures in this time. I was hoping for a redundancy but it was never offered as I had such a wide range of knowledge within multiple areas of the business and so I made the decision to leave regardless. Within a year of my leaving the organisation pulled out of Australia. IPC was an amazing experience, I met a number of people whom I still keep in touch with today. As mentioned above, I learnt a huge amount, in particular what NOT to do in business. Show less

Sanity was a fantastic, fun place to work. I began working at Sanity when they were just starting to open stores in NSW, they had opened their first Store at Castle Hill, were in the process of opening their Parramatta store (my trial was performed in this store) and I then assisted them in opening a store at Blacktown and then Wollongong. I began working at Sanity when they were just starting to open stores in NSW, they had opened their first Store at Castle Hill, were in the process of opening their Parramatta store (my trial was performed in this store) and I then assisted them in opening a store at Blacktown and then Wollongong. At the point that I was initially hired by Sanity, the plan was established for me to open the Wollongong store and run that for a period of time. While managing the Wollongong store, I achieved a number of successes as follows: - Within 3 months of opening, the closest Music store to us closed down. - Within 6 months of opening, the Wollongong store became an ARIA store. This provided further benefits when dealing with all of the Music suppliers (EMI, BMG, Polygram etc..) as your store had a direct impact on the ARIA charts that were released to the public on a weekly basis. - I constantly out performed the other NSW stores with regards to the sales figures. - I recieved a personal award from Brett Blundy for receiving one of the highest marks in the companies secret shopper assessment campaign. - I managed a team of over 20 staff (most were casuals). After running the Wollongong store for about a year, I was asked to move back to Sydney to take control of a store at Plumpton that had been open for 3 months but had not come close to making budget during this period, it was performing at around 50% of the expected budget. Within the first week of managing the store I made budget and subsequently continued to exceed the budget. I managed this store for approximately 4 months before handing in my resignation to begin my career in IT. Sanity taught me some great fundamental skills with regards to customer service, staff management and financial planning. As a store manager you were responsible achieving a minimum productivity rating which meant that you had to manage all budgets for that store. Show less
