MRC Recycling specializes in electronic and appliance recycling, as well as asset management. MRC has achieved national R2:2013/RIOS certification and Missouri State LEVEL 4 Certification by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and is a registered electronics recycler with the Illinois EPA. Human Resource Manager

Duties included working with Community Grant Programs, management recruiting, general hiring oversight, training, and retention of approximately 900 associates, and all HR responsibilities including FMLA,ADA, labor relations, internal investigations, I9 compliance, Worker’s Compensation, separation investigations/unemployment representation, and associate open door concerns. Regional Training and Development Manager

I was responsible for auditing/training/compliance for fourteen distribution centers within two regions in our Logistics Network. I was responsible for completing HR/Training audits and management recruiting on a regional level. Additionally, I was responsible for creating and implementing training programs throughout the Wal-Mart Logistics network. This position required 75% travel to my distribution centers in GA, FL, AR, AL, VA, and TX Certified facilitator for Labor/Workforce relations, Adult Learning Principles, Diversity Awareness, Food Safety Manager Certification, Birkman Level 1, Accelerated Learning, and Behavioral Interviewing /Employee Selection

Training Manager

• 2002 - 2004

I was responsible for training and compliance for 800 associates and 90 managers/assistant managers in a large distribution center environment. I was responsible for exceeding goal of over 1200 training hours per month consistently. Both annual HR and Training audits scores were over 95%. I investigated all voluntary and involuntary employment separations and represented my company at unemployment hearings in North and South Carolina offices. Assisted in coordinating the hiring, orientation and training of 150 associates and recruiting of over 15 managers. I successfully mentored and trained four new Training Managers within the company.

Branch Manager

During my tenure, I was promoted to Team Leader (St. Louis), Logistics Manager (New Orleans) and Warehouse Manager (Huntsville). I was responsible for all shipping, receiving, inventory, transportation, and manufacturing operations within the plant. I directly oversaw payroll, benefits administration, employment relations/investigations, recruiting, hiring, and internal auditing. 1996 - My branch (St Louis, MO) received the Bronze Values Award for excellence in service, accuracy, profitability, and community outreach 1998 - My branch (St Louis, MO) received the Gold Values Award for excellence in service, accuracy, profitability, community outreach, and reduction in turnover. 1999 - As a Logistics Manager (New Orleans, LA) successfully integrated our new acquisition – De Castro Molding – into our company’s operations resulting in an increase in inventory accuracy to 99%. Successfully ‘right-sized’ the facility to be a satellite location of our Houston branch resulting in reduced overhead costs. 2000 -Lead my team (Huntsville, AL) from 24th place to 10th place in our Distribution network within one year. I was able to reduce labor costs while improving production efficiencies, quality, and sales revenues. 2001- Branch was recognized for lowest turnover (>8%) and highest Leadership Satisfaction Survey (90%) in our company.
