The MH systems consists of 23 miles of automated conveyor systems that include 3 high speed shoe sorters, 18 agv’s, 10 AS/RS cranes and 90 electric fork lifts. My responsibilities include reporting on all KPI’s monthly, ensuring all PM work, project work and repairs are completed correctly and timely.   Managed the entire maintenance department of one of FedEx Ground’s largest automated hubs in North America. The facility processes 30,000 packages per hour utilizing over 1250 high speed conveyors. Responsibilities included the upkeep and maintenance of the $52 million, 64 acre complex that sorts and distributes packages, with the precision of Accusort’s bar-code scanning technology, and the automation of Rapistan/Siemens high-speed parcel sortation equipment. Scope of position was expansive and included departmental direction and design, installation, engineering, implementation, support, training, administration, and management authority for all physical equipment and building structures.
