It also required a close partnership with Product, Design, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to flesh out the product design while identifying edge and corner customer cases and proposing solutions. - As Technical Lead on Contributor Seats, I architected simple but scalable data models to represent the new product, designed APIs optimized for clean integration with our existing microservice architecture, provided direct implementation guidance to peers, guided QA through developing a robust testing plan, and developed much of the core purchase and fulfillment logic. Previously: - Architected and later refactored a product and pricing microservice to serve as a single source of truth for product definitions, prices, product feature sets, upgrade recommendations, built from the ground up to support international A/B testing. - Principal front-end engineer/architect on a total refactor of our product checkout page from a mixed collection of YUI/Jquery plugins to React, built . - Mentored junior/mid-level Billing engineers in test-driven development, Python and Javascript best practices, and architecting applications to support A/B testing.
