Scott was my Forecast Analyst at Academy Sports and Outdoors for approximately 2 years. Scott was responsible for departments in the Field area. Scott came to forecasting during a restricting of responsibilities. Even though he didn’t chose this area, he adapted very quickly. Scott was able to learn the complex functions of the forecasting in a short amount of time. He did not hesitate to inquire about the different functionality or processes. His background in replenishment was helpful to him in understanding the role forecasting played in the supply chain. He would often offer his knowledge of replenishment to other people in the forecasting area which was very helpful. He created a report to help the replenishment team to determine if an item should be considered a forecastable item. This was beneficial because all the information needed was compiled into an easy to view screen shot. Scott was very dependable, hardworking, punctual, and dedicated analyst while I was his manager. I think he would be a great asset to any organization. Connie Smith Forecast Manager Academy Sports and Outdoors
