      Scott Whitfield started the instrumental music program at Levine Academy in 2000. The middle school program now includes a Concert Band, Honor Band and Lab Band. Whitfield also authored a severe weather course for the 7th-8th grades. The 12 week course is the first of it's kind in the nation and certifies the students as National Weather Service storm spotters. Whitfield is currently the Public Relations, Marketing & Social Media Officer for Sachse CERT He also served as their Training Coordinator in 2014.
