Led research teams investigating the mechanisms of aging, using yeast as the model organism. Used both traditional lab techniques and bioinformatics. Two projects culminated in being a lead author on publications at a peer reviewed journal. Wrote a book chapter on methods in yeast aging biology. Contributions on 8 total projects led to publications at peer reviewed journal, including one that measured aging phenotypes for deletions of nearly every gene in the yeast genome.
