      My role was to account manage and upsell to both new and existing BT customers in the North and East Kent area. I had a monthly target of 20K gross profit and a strategic target of 5 mobiles, 5 broadband, 5 WLR lines and 5 qualified appointments. Main duties were as follows: Acquisition: Cold calling non-BT customers in an aim to win back their business. A difficult, but challenging part of my job which required me to analyze customers’ bills, provide them with a cost comparison and then win their business based on a cost-effective solution. Account management: Looking after and maintaining existing BT accounts, plus up-selling a range of products such as broadband, mobile, wireless internet, lease lines and hosted solutions. I was also required to defend any customers that were looking to leave BT by performing regular account reviews. Leads generation: Identifying switch opportunities and booking appointments for the field team. These leads were generated by approaching multiline customers and explaining to them the benefits of having a telephone system. For example; reduced line rentals, ability to transfer calls, voicemail, direct dials, call queuing etc. We also targeted moving customers and those who were interested in upgrading existing telephone systems.
