Working under Scott as part of Hargreaves Lansdown's Trade Support department has been massive for me in terms of professional development and contributing to a team which is a pillar of the UK's biggest investment platform. The knowledge and experience I've gained working in Scott's team stretches from understanding market trading and settlement, complying with financial rules and regulations (i.e. CASS and MiFD II), being able to manage a large workload efficiently, and always finding the right solutions for our consumers. It's a testiment to Scott's managerial abilities that in a team which deals with so many of HL's daily trading functions, he has managed to turn everyone under him into specialists in their field. Having come through and rising to the challenges of the Brexit termoil and Woodford collapse, it just demonstrates Scott's ability to adapt and thrive under pressure. If he carries on performing in the same vein as the past 12 months, then the sky is the limit for him.
