Scott has truly gone above and beyond to mentor me while I was at Nanosolar. This task along with his huge responsibility for managing the operations & facilities during a large startup ramp was really something remarkable. He took time aside to check in with each of his employees and cared deeply about how everyone was doing and aligned us with the top company priorities. He was able to transform a small pilot R&D lab space in Palo Alto on the order of magnitude of watts & Kws produced to a 647,000 sqft manufacturing facility in San Jose in the 100's of MW's. The fast paced build out of that facility was accomplished by Scott's expertise in facilities & operations that allowed him to quickly modify plans and realign his team. The end result is a high tech streamlined and automated manufacturing facility that Scott helped to create.
