Regional Liner Hanger Engineer
-
Jan 2008 - Oct 2008
Time was spent abroad to study and train on Liner hanger systems. Spent duration of time hands on making up liners; liners were built, stabbed then pressure tested to confirm correct operational requirements. All equipment was measured and calculated to the requirements of the customer before being finalized and dispatched to the rig. Whilst abroad working in Italy, New Zealand and Turkey I was tasked as a two man team to run liners for various customers both on offshore and land rigs. Weatherford could not secure me a steady rotation so took it upon myself to branch into the drilling side of the offshore industry. Show less
