      The best possible place to start a career in media directed towards small business! I was given the opportunity to grow and manage one specific zoned edition of Sun Newspapers (Beautiful Downtown Hopkins), one of 35 different editions Sun published every week. In my 5.5 years of working in Hopkins I really grew to understand the importance of small business and how it shapes the community. I also learned that you need to jump in with both feet; I was vice-president of Hopkins Mainstreet Community Promotions, a member of Hopkins Rotary, Hopkins Raspberry Festival, and a Jaycee. It was because of this level of participation the little newspaper zone of Hopkins was consistently the top 2 or 3 revenue generating territories within Sun.
