  My main objective as store manager of this smoothie and fresh juice shop is to create a positive, upbeat environment which provides customers with quality product and efficient service. Day to day operations at this smoothie and fresh juice chain included:-Delivering a high quality, nutritious drink efficiently-Hiring/Training/Maintaining a friendly, responsible staff-Maintaining a clean and safe work environment-Inventory Control; Ordering/rotation of product-Money handling; Delivering deposits to bank-Store/Machine maintenance; basic electrical, plumbing, tile, paint- Paying Bills including rent, permits, vendors, store repair costs, etc.-Creating weekly schedules; reviewing work video to help advise staff-Interviewing applicants; the hiring, promoting and termination of employees-Auditing employee time punches for payroll-Frequently advising fellow managers on proper procedures and managing employees and situationsMy Accomplishments since managing for Blenders in the Grass include:-Managing three different locations over this 6+ year period; One store managed at two different times-Transferring to and turning around stores lacking efficiency and below company standards-Created positive and productive store environments resulting in store growth of 15-20%-Trained three managers who all currently manage their own store for Blenders in the Grass-Store awarded with OSHA's Golden Gate Award.-At my current location in Ventura, I have increased sales roughly 32% in 2013, and another 24% in 2014, continuing to only climb higher.-Within 3 years at my current location in Ventura (starting in 2012), I have brought my store from 7th to 1st in overall sales in this 12 store company. This has helped allow Blenders in the Grass to recently sign the lease and begin construction to its 13th location in the same city due to its growth and popularity in the community.
