Scott is a well respected engineering director. I had the pleasure of working with Scott for close to a decade at Qualcomm, where he was responsible for directing multiple engineering groups. Scott was outstanding in his technical knowledge in the broad areas of ASIC design. Whenever I sought his opinion on technical proposals, he always knew the right questions to ask to help quickly judge feasiblity. Yet, as a leader, his style was not to micro-manage: he believed in enabling others to perform at their best without impinging on their autonomy. During Scott's tenure, groups he directed saw significant growth. He started with directing one product line, but soon took on responsibilites for multiple engineering products, at one point managing close to a 100-person engineering organization. As a director, Scott earns my highest recommendation and he will be an asset to any company.

I reported to Scott during last two years at Qualcomm. I have my best two years of my career on audio codec digital design and verification when Scott is my manager. Scott hired me and gave me all the details of direction & guidance on audio codec team management and engineering supervision of various projects at different levels. Scott has great people management skill. He is highly respected by all of our engineering team members. He is not a manager of micro-management, he gives engineering team enough room to come up with best engineering solutions while he has profound engineering range of knowledge/experience and depth to diligently follows up and check with the status and progress of all the projects to provide direction & guidance at right time to ensure quality engineering deliverable on time. Scott is full of integrity and competency to support me during my first year at Qualcomm to quickly ramp up to audio codec team & project management. I feel lam lucky to have him as my manager for the two years.
