  In September of 2008, Mr. McBride joined NRG Energy as a Regional Operations Manager responsible for 17 projects totaling 1,680 MW and made up of 943 wind turbines to include NERC, Environmental, and Safety compliance as well as operations strategies, budgets, maintenance plans and employees. This position required a focus on safety, reliability, data integrity and production. When NRG sold its renewable assets to Global Infrastructure Partners to form Clearway Energy, Mr. McBride accepted the role of General Manager for the west region.
