Multiple rapids along the Spokane river invite whitewater rafting, while motorized boating, canoeing, and kayaking are permitted on Lake Spokane. Nine Mile Recreation Area features a boat ramp and two docks. This sprawling park features interpretive programs that invite exploration of the region's cultural history and several natural areas abundant with wildlife. Riverside State Park Foundation's mission is to preserve and protect the natural resources and inherent beauty of Riverside State Park, for those who came before us and those who will follow.
