We were set the task of researching and preparing a report on "Subsea processing; the concept and its benefits and challenges", this being the future of oil & gas processing. Working within a small team this involved researching current and conceptual methods of subsea oil extraction and transportation, investigating the advantages and limitations of each and presenting our findings, along with recommendations of preferred solutions, to a group including several members of staff.
