I attended all of the sessions presented by Scott Klement at the 2014 Technical Conference that was put on by our Toronto User's Group (TUG). Scott's technical knowledge is simply amazing. I found all of his sessions very valuable. Scott is also able to present his knowledge in a way that mere mortals (like myself) can easily understand. I believe this is something that not everyone of his caliber is capable of doing. I highly recommend that you attend any learning session presented by Scott.

Having implemented Scott’s HTTPS solution on the IBMi for one of my clients Kuoni Travel UK I would recommend Scott to anyone that’s serious about development on IBMi. His solutions and knowledge of RPG and the IBMi platform are very impressive I would equate them to Craig Pelkie’s whom I had the pleasure of dealing with back in 1996 for CPI-C programming when writing comms between AS400’s and PC’s and AS400’s. When I embarked on the HTTP’s project I spoke with some IBM experts in the UK for Web Services and they had no solution whereas Scott’s HTTPAPIR4 service program is a perfect middleware solution that should satisfy all your Web Service requirements taking all the complexity of the sockets programming away from the IBMi developer.
