Mark Jenner
Scott has the rare ability to transcend running the day-to-day business and envision a better future state for the organisation. He engaged Interbrand with a clear brief based on smart thinking and real outcomes. He's clear that all organisations must learn and continuously reinvent themselves around consumers and customers, if they are to build and sustain strong performance. Scott is a pleasure to work with - he treats people with respect and delivers on his promises. I am happy to elaborate on this recommendation with anyone smart enough to employ him.
Mark Callaghan
For nearly four years I worked with Scott Johnson as a peer in the Frucor Leadership Team, when he ran the Frucor International business. Scott is a highly skilled MD. His strengths are in the areas of; 1. Adaptability; demonstrated in his dealings with multiple nationalities in different parts of the world. Eg South America (La Sabilia) , Asia (south Korea and China), India (Suntory Narang) USA (711), Africa (Bene) and Europe. 2. Commerciality; Has a 'challenger brand' management mind-set, which was paramount in the International role (as was resilience!). 3. Action orientation/Accountability; attention to detail and completer/finisher style. 30% growth in the International business over his time in the seat, was a fantastic result. 4. Team player; He is an excellent leader, able to build trust at all levels in the organisation and would always be prepared to 'get his hands dirty' if required. Scott was a key influencer in shaping the world-class Frucor business and its culture and would make a significant contribution to any organisation he joined.
