Here I was able to troublshoot problems in the workplace, resolve disputes between employees and customers all while maintaining a professional demeanor. I worked directly with the corporate offices on a daily basis regarding daily revenue, forcasting, as well as future planning for tee sheet and facility utilization. In the few years I spent at Chico State I spent time entering in a variety of different clubs and internships. Among the 3 semesters I spent working with the Institute for Sustainable Development at Chico State, I also spent time working at both Butte Creek Ecological Preserve as well as well as Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve working on land stewardship; I primarily focused on removing invasive species, planting native species, fire ecology and the effects due to the combination of the above. Also, I have been fortunate enough to be able to be apart of the CSU Chico Geography Club. This has been one of my favorite experiences from my college career, spending a lot of time with people in my field that have a variety of views of the different aspects of Geography. The CSU Geography Club helped my develop not only my journal article "Pedagogy of the Outdoor Classroom", but also gave me the necessary encouragement to present my article at the Bachelor of Social Sciences Symposium (CSU Chico), California Geographical Society's conference at UC Davis April 2012, and California Geographical Society's conference held at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 2013.

I learned many skills that were easily transferred to many of the guest service fields. I worked a lot with membership sales and retention. I was one of the two staff members that were there on a daily basis, so it helped me learn how to solve problems on my own as well as develop and maintain strong relationships with the members. I work as outside service greeting guests as they first arrived at the facility. I was the first and last person that many of the guests would see throughout their time. It was my job to maintain a pleasant and friendly environment for the guests. I work as outside service greeting guests as they first arrived at the facility.
