At CLEARink we were often sailing against the tide and facing high waves. Scott Ferguson was our COO and he was always there to keep the ship on course. If I was to ever start a company in the Bay area I would call Scott to run operations. When everything comes melting down Scott will be there to support and motivate the team, offering clear leadership in terms of managing engineering, manufacturing, customer service, product development,... His only mistake is that he keeps refusing to move to Canada.

Scott played a critical role in NS Nanotech's company formation, during the height of the pandemic when remote collaboration was our only option. He was a thought leader in technology development, external collaborations, vendor identification, supply chain, and team building. Scott was excited to roll up his sleeves and do some hands-on development when it made sense, and at one point had built a fully operating plasma chamber in his garage! I continue to seek opportunities to collaborate and work together with Scott on new projects, and wholeheartedly recommend him as a technologist and leader in any high-performing organization.
