I taught with Scott from 2005-2008 in a very urban, low social-economic area and work in collaboration with him for many years after that. I was also part of the team that hired and mentored Scott in his first teaching role. My direct work with him for several years allows me to speak with authority directly to the person and educator of Scott’s person. He is one of the most passionate, hardworking, dynamic teachers I worked with in the 16 years I was in teaching across 3 continents. I have taught in America, Japan and Australia. Scotts spark and love for the job is second to none. He makes everyday fun and engaging for not only his class but the entire school. His ability to collaborate with different grade teachers and integrate learning programs makes him invaluable to everyone around him. Scott is a passionate, devoted, loyal individual with everyone’s best interests in mind. He is willing to go out of his way for the betterment of his school committees. The impact he has on the school community he works with makes him extremely valuable. Even as a young teacher Scott’s pedagogy was that of a veteran teacher with many years of experience. To find an male in education that is as dedicated, caring, and heartfelt as Scott in elementary education is like finding a Dimond in the rough. It is without question or hesitation that I refer Scott for any position and without any doubt will guarantee he will go above and beyond expectations.
