Senior Vice President, Chief Information & Technology Officer
-
Feb 1999 - Mar 2016
American Bank of Huntsville was founded in May, 2007 and is formerly known as Worthington Federal Bank, Franklin Security Bank, FSB and Approved Federal Savings Bank. I came to my current position through the acquisition of Franklin by private investors in Huntsville, AL. My objectives were, and are, to ensure that the bank has a properly designed and maintained IT infrastructure which will allow it perform and offer products and services beyond that of a typical small community bank. Since the founding of the bank I have virtualized all of the server infrastructure, implemented a VoIP telecommunications system and participated in the design and construction of our main operations and banking facility. Over my many years with the Bank I have managed and implemented everything from Y2K readiness to Novell Netware, GroupWise, Lotus Notes, Active Directory (starting back in the NT 4 days through today), Exchange, Lync, VMware, multiple core banking conversions and so many other projects that I cannot name them all. Areas of core focus: Regulatory compliance, IT Strategy, Information Security, Disaster Recovery planning and preparation, Information Architecture, eCommerce Delivery and Strategy, Vendor Management, Facilities Management, and Telecommunications.
