During the lockdown and university I was working for Uber Eats to keep a income and busy in between my studies, especially during the first lockdown, I was responsible for the delivery of the food and ensuring that each order was fulfilled on time and the customer was happy. I still work on the weekends as a way to keep myself busy. I helped open a new restaurant in the summer of 2019. It was a different experience, having to work through teething problems as a new group where everyone had to be a leader within a team. Where everyone was trying to imprint their own style and ideas. The restaurant was a hit and I learned things like keeping cool in hard situations and working with limited resources whilst having quick reactions and creative problem solving. I would lead a team of up to 17 people for an event service such as the the Coldplay concerts at Wembly 2016 , I delt with briefing my staff, having the correct stock to which the client had paid for as every client pays for different packages . I also had to deal with the money made an make sure that this coincides with the stock that has been sold so then we do not lose any money or over charge the clients by accident, then come the end of the event I had to organize an be part of an break down team to clean the area an turn the space round ready for the next event. Also moved into a recruitment in a 180 role and hired staff for the events and match days, along with dealing the staff member queries.

During my time at RE I have worked at England’s top events such as the Royal Ascot where I worked in the Royal box serving Dukes and Duchess, The Ashes at Lords stadium and The British athletic championships at the Olympic stadium amongst other small events.I regularly worked 12-15hrs putting in extra shifts to make sure jobs were finished and event space was ready for the next day.
