Scott has played a critical role in standing up and maintaining the IT networks of two different start-ups that I've been a part of. He is one of the most effective, trustworthy, focused and dedicated people I have ever worked with. There has never been a problem I've presented to him that he couldn't or didn't solve. And in the start-up world, there are always lots of problems to be solved. Scott has a lighthearted, easy going demeanor that should never be confused with his tenacious desire to make your company successful. If there's work to be done, he's the first one there and the last one to leave. For those looking for a highly effective IT networking expert that has your company's best interest in mind, I recommend Scott without reservation.

Scott is truly one of my favorite instructors here at LinkedIn. Very few people bring as much to the table as Scott. Trying to enumerate them all would be futile, but I'll outline the highlights: * He's exceedingly well-prepared. He always has everything ready to go, long before it's needed. I never ever have to worry. * He's smart. He can figure anything out. We literally brought him in to do something no one else had been able to accomplish (many tried), and he did it with ease. And he taught others to do it, too. * He's an excellent author and designs his courses extremely well. The courses are thorough, well thought out, and easy to follow. He is one of our most popular authors in the space and for good reason. His instructional sense is second to none. * He's brings decades of experience. One thing that cannot be overstated is the value of Scott's experience. He's seen it all. Done it all. And can leverage that experience for the betterment of whatever it is that he's working on. * He communicates clearly and appropriately. He understands his audience, whether it's server geeks or small business owners with little or no understanding of technology, and can adapt the learning to make it easily digestible. In the preparation phase, he knows what needs to be surfaced to the team and what needs to simply be handled. * He can manage complex tasks with aplomb, competence, and an agility that makes it seem easy. * He's reliable. Always. * He's patient. * He makes my job easy. People think that I'm much better at my job than I am, in no small part due to Scott's diligence and professionalism. * He elevates everything he works on. * He brings fantastic people skills to every situation. He's able to read people and bring to bear an unflappable calm and coolness in meetings and one on one interactions. * He's kind and considerate. I could easily go on and on, but the point is that Scott Burrell is a rare and valuable gem, and I whole heartedly recommend him.

Navigating the global pandemic created many challenges for students through 2020 and into 2021 as they experienced workplace challenges, personal and family safety concerns, and varying amounts of virtual instruction for themselves and those they cared for. Ohio Media School, as part of the M&S Media network of schools remained strong throughout the pandemic and the recovery from it. Together with our students and the amazing team in Cincinnati, we weathered the storm and are moving forward.
