We focus on boosting awareness of the inclusive nature of golf, developing capacity within the golf industry, and providing opportunities for golfers with a disability throughout the player pathway.In this role, I have responsibility: Project Management: Together with the European Tour group, created, launched and manage the G4D (Golf for the Disabled) Tour featuring a minimum of seven events, culminating in the G4D Grand Finale in Dubai. These events are closely linked to DP World Tour – playing on the same course during the same tournament week as some of the best professionals in the world. Branding: In collaboration with the Algarve technical school - ETIC and professor Rita Sampaio, we developed a new branding for the association and for the EDGA Tour.Partnerships: Working with EDGA member federations and partners to create / share media assets promoting the inclusive nature of golf and its benefits to Golfers with a Disability. These events are closely linked to DP World Tour tournaments – playing on the same course during the same tournament week as some of the best professionals in the world. - Collaborated and contributed to the conception of films showcasing golf for the disabled in 2015, 2017, 2018, with the most recent reaching over 130 million homes in 10 countries. The Mulligan film was broadcasted on Sky Sports, Fox and Golf Channel. - Produced the Mulligan book available in three languages. The booked was launched with a Give & Gift campaign ensuring 3,000 books were donated to hospitals and rehab centres.- Developed the ‘PLAY GOLF’ campaign showcasing eight EDGA players from three continents with a range of disabilities who live life to the full through playing golf. The campaign has been translated and distributed to eight national federations. - Created the EDGA media library which is golf’s most complete media resource of Golfers with Disability.
