In this role, I worked one on one with my professor Bart DeStasio on a research project specializing in the spread of aquatic freshwater invasive species in the Fox River and Green Bay. I set up and assisted in lab experiments, conducted independent field research, and spent hours in the lab identifying water, plankton, and benthic samples as well as IDing both native and invasive fish. This research was funded by the Wisconsin DNR.
