      In early 2015, I was presented with a unique opportunity to get involved with an early-stage technology startup called Adored, first as a contractor and ultimately one of the company's earliest employees. I led the company's New Market Development efforts, establishing the Adored mobile app in new communities and new verticals. I was the lead relationship builder for Adored, growing partnerships with businesses, downtown districts, chambers of commerce, associations and attractions. The Adored mobile app began as a loyalty app for consumers to earn rewards at their favorite bars, restaurants and coffee shops through iBeacon technology. Subsequent iterations of the app featured robust on-site experiences at resorts, hotels and attractions, and daily chalkboard specials at nearby restaurants. My time at Adored ended as the product evolved to become 100% self-service, therefore negating the need for personnel dedicated to relationship-building. While short-lived, the startup experience was exciting, rewarding and really informative. I came away with incredible experiences, new skills and huge respect for the brave, passionate people who create and build new things from scratch.

      I served as Mount Washington Observatory's Executive Director for 8+ years, leading the organization through a period of transformational growth and success. As E.D., I was accountable to the Board of Trustees, and responsible for leading and managing the organization, both internally and externally. Internally, I managed all staff, volunteers and programs, oversaw financial affairs and facilitated the work of the Trustees.
