HIV Care Services has funded services for people living with HIV/AIDS under the federal Ryan White Treatment Modernization Act (also known as the CARE Act) since 1991. Currently, HIVCS manages more than $100 million in Ryan White funding and has over 200 contracts with more than 150 community-based organizations, hospitals, clinics, mental health clinics and other organizations that provide direct services to people living with HIV/AIDS. • Serves as Public Health Solutions-HIVCS contact with executive, program and fiscal staff of contracted organizations • Review contract proposals and determines cost structure in collaboration with funding partners • Negotiate new and renewal contracts and monitors programmatic and fiscal aspects of contracts • Conducts site visits to ensure programmatic compliance with contract terms and conditions in addition to service delivery verification • Provides technical assistance to contractors as needed • Conducts annual retrospective review of performance and cost structure for establishment of reimbursement rate
